New NATE Training from ACCA.
The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), the nation's largest association of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) contractors, has announced a new training program designed to help technicians successfully take and pass NATE certification exams.
"ACCA is committed to NATE as the professional certification standard for quality HVAC technicians," said Paul T. Stalknecht, ACCA President & CEO. "With data now showing that NATE-certified technicians produce fewer callbacks, and that consumers trust and prefer certification, contractors should focus on NATE as a way to reduce costs and drive sales -- two things that are always important, but especially in today's economy."
To make it easier for contractors to prepare their technicians for NATE certification, ACCA is launching a new series of computer video training classes that will help technicians successfully take and pass NATE exams. The "NATE Essentials" training programs are taught by Jack Rise, a leading HVAC trainer, who has successfully taught hundreds of people through NATE certification.
These training sets can be kept on-hand by contractors, distributors, schools, and anyone who would like to ensure that technicians can successfully achieve NATE certification. "It's like adding a first-rate trainer to your staff, and he's there when you need him," said Stalknecht.
