Why an essay contest?

"Contractors are hurting from the bad economy just like everyone else,” says Crisara. “I want to give them the chance to be rewarded for candidly expressing their heartfelt stories about today's business challenges, and how critical it is to improve their revenue and sales in the upcoming year.”

Former Contest Winner Shares His Story

“I was broke and looking for a way to give my business some life,” says former essay winner, Rick Allgeier, owner of Louisville, KY-based Allgeier Air Conditioning & Heating.  “I tried some trade associations and they wouldn't recommend any consultants. I tried some contracting groups and that fizzled. I heard about Joe Crisara's contests and wrote from the heart. I remember thinking: ‘This is the kind of training I need and I didn't even have the money to attend.'”

Training Yielded Instant Results

Allgeier says that within one week of returning from Joe's Total Immersion course, won with his essay, he sold an $88,000 residential job. “Joe Crisara's sales training works and it gave my business new life,” Allgeier says. “Winning the contest got me into the door, but completing the training made my business more successful than ever.”

Essay Judged by Contracting Experts

Judges for the contest will be founding members of the Contracting Consultants of America, which include:

“The only way to guarantee that you don't win is if you fail to enter."
