Venstar Adds New Distributors to Market its Thermostat HVAC Control Systems.

A supplier of energy management and thermostat systems, Venstar, has signed an agreement with Polar Technology of San Juan, to be its distributor for its residential and commercial thermostat HVAC control systems at Puerto Rico.

Recently, Venstar declared Trane Canada as its distributor in Canada and named DBM Control Distributors and DBM Controls as its New York distributors. The thermostat products of Venstar distributed by Polar include the residential and commercial ColorTouch Touchscreen thermostat.

The residential ColorTouch incorporates the easy-to-use, highly-featured, multi-functional, and programmable touch screen features. It has more than 12 preset themes and customizable backgrounds. Adaptable to all types of air conditioning and heating system, ColorTouch’s display can be changed to any of the three languages that include Spanish, French, or English.

The commercial ColorTouch features easy-to-operate, multi-functional, and touch screen specially designed to serve commercial installations. The users can showcase their advertisements or sales promotions and business logos on the thermostat screens as a wallpaper or screensaver.

Venstar's Slimline series of thermostat models are available in the North American market. Its models include EZStat, ComfortCall, SchoolStat, and Slimline Platinum. EZStat features easy programming and large-sized indicators configured on the display to make reading easier. ComfortCall is an accessory that enables users to automatically adjust their residential thermostats from other telephones.

This product obeys voice commands and replies to users over the phone with the help of a voice synthesis and voice recognition facility. SchoolStat is a commercial programmable thermostat that offers comfortable classroom environment during the working days and save energy during holidays. Slimline Platinum is a commercial thermostat model based on light activation. Depending on the light intensity, the thermostat turns on or off in order to save energy and contribute to the concept, “go green”.
